Account Manager

Examity® Customer Team provides proctoring, customer service and technical support. This position is located in the Greater Boston area and is central to the success of Examity ®. Examity® Account Managers are responsible for relationship development. An open line of communication allows them to build strong partnerships with their assigned client portfolio.

 

 

Essential Duties

  • Grow existing customer relationships through ongoing support and customer advocacy.
  • Work with customers to determine the unique needs of their organization.
  • Broaden the client’s understanding of the services Examity® provides.
  • Use effective communication skills in identifying the needs and expectations of each client.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Sales/Marketing, Business, Information Technology) strongly preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Two or more years in customer service.
  • Experience in portfolio management.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer application software.
  • Must work well with priority changes.
  • Background in computer science or software engineering is desirable but not required.
  • A proven track record in business or project planning.
  • Must be comfortable on the phone.

Part-time Auditor (Newton, MA)

Examity, a rapidly growing education tech company, is looking for part-time help in our Newton, MA office.  Primary duties would include auditing for quality our recorded exam sessions and customer support through chat, phone and email.  Training will be provided on location.

Audit Responsibilities

  • Review recorded video sessions of exams
  • Identify technical issues occurring during video recording
  • Identify violations of school policy
  • Ensure proper authentication of student
  • Document any observed variances
  • Communicate with account management team any quality concerns
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Support Responsibilities

  • Answer phone, email and chat inquiries
  • Ask questions to uncover needs
  • Present students with the best solution
  • Answer billing questions
  • Connect students to their proctors and exams
  • Troubleshoot problems and provide resolution
  • Accurately document case work

It will be important to proactively complete service events and make each customer happy.

Experience/Requirements

  • Customer service background and experience
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to Newton office during normal business hours
  • Flexible schedule and some weekend work

IT Specialist
Examity®, the world leader in learning validation and online proctoring, is recruiting for an IT Specialist.

The IT Specialist is primarily focused on technical resources that include maintaining the business relationship, monitoring performance, and ensuring product performance in accordance with specifications. As a secondary focus, the IT Specialist will also participate in new client onboarding with our web development team.

Primary areas of responsibilities include:

  • Desktop support
  • 8X8 Administration (auto attendant, ring groups, and user/line management)
  • Screen sharing (GoToMeeting and Zoom)
  • Office 365 (user management)
  • US office network
  • Lightower (primary fiber circuit)
  • Comcast (back-up internet)
  • DCSI (firewall monitoring and service)
  • Camtasia
  • Digital River
  • Skype
  • GoDaddy (SSL certificates)

Specifics duties include

  • Maintain contracts and alert management to critical dates and required actions
  • Monitor performance of technology and, with management guidance, take appropriate actions to improve performance
  • Understand functions and features of technology and recommend adoption to management
  • Implement technology patches, upgrades, and new versions

Secondary areas of participation include

  • Maintain Vulnerability Matrix and conduct tests as appropriate
  • Report all issues and escalate to appropriate team members
  • Assist with standard account integrations
  • Apply knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new products and features.
  • Ability to facilitate new product rollouts
  • Help with new product/feature and operations documentation

Strongly Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
  • Cybersecurity experience
  • A fast learner and self-starter with solid written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-3 years professional work experience preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in web applications, client/server configuration background helpful
