Examity, the world leader in learning validation and online proctoring, today announced the appointment of Brian Collins as Vice President, Product Management. A veteran product executive and technologist, Collins previously led product management for the cloud computing platform Demandware during the company’s rapid expansion, including its acquisition by Salesforce for $2.8 billion in 2016.

“As the pace — and complexity — of digital learning accelerates, Brian will ensure that our technology continues to incorporate the latest advances in AI and machine learning,” said Michael London, Founder and CEO of Examity. “Brian’s experience at the country’s leading software companies will enable him to further Examity’s position at the forefront of innovation in online proctoring.”

Collins will spearhead product vision and strategy for Examity at a time of accelerating growth: the company’s revenue and global headcount doubled in 2018 amidst increasing demand for secure online assessments. He most recently served as Vice President, Product Management at Salesforce, a role he took on following the company’s 2016 acquisition of Demandware. Collins’ previous experience includes leadership roles in product strategy and user experience design at Oracle Corporation, supporting the company’s growth and market expansion.

“The broad and expanding need for secure online testing presents exciting market opportunities and technical challenges,” said Collins. “Examity’s investments in innovation have driven its leadership position in the field. We now have an opportunity to utilize technology advancements to create new capabilities and products that delight our customers and advance the mission of online learning.”
